Teriskano Engineering Solutions has announced two new distributorships that it says will empower it as a black owned BBBEE level 3 company to support its newCHECK VALVES
principles and help them to achieve joint objectives in the South African valves market.
Valtek Sulamericana, a Brazilian manufacturer of control valves, has grown through a focus on its core business and now intends to explore the South African market through the agreement with Teriskano. The company was started in 1979 as a partnership between Flucon do Brasil and US-based Valtek. The partnership ended when Valtek was acquired by the Flowserve Group. own and today has grown to become one of the largest companies in South America to develop and produce control valves for industrial processes in the chemical, petrochemical, energy, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical and industrial gas industries. “We have customers in Brazil like Petrobras that require a combination of technology, advanced mix of products and fast delivery, so we believe we can be successful in South Africa with the support of Teriskano,” says VP Sérgio Camillo.
The second agreement is with Everlasting Valve Company that is seeking toSAFETY VALVES
re-establish its brand in the local market where it already has a large installed base. Everlasting Valve’s global customers operate in various markets including cement; coal fired power plants; petroleum production; coal gasification and other areas where?the handling of abrasive solids and slurries is critical. From its US base?in South Plainfield, New Jersey, the company builds every valve using?computerised and robotic equipment in its ISO 9001 certified facility.
